Sharif Hatab of Sharif Sells had an unassuming start in real estate — he closed just one rental transaction during his first year. Keeping Up With Clientele

In 2021, Sharif was working in IT and real estate when “[his] real estate business took off” and became an exciting opportunity to go full-time. He knew the secret to success was in equipping his team with powerful tools to stay in touch, so as the team worked on video content and marketing to support their agents on the ground, Sharif considered how to keep clients coming back.

To this day, the team hosts quarterly client events — socials, masterminds, lunches and more — with the goal of adding 5–10 new people into their database every day. They also send out quarterly email invites to start conversations with new and old leads alike. Digital contact remains vital for the team’s growth, and a robust database provides a roadmap for those contacts.

Maintaining a good CRM was key to keeping up with the clients who would help build their business. The numbers only supported the team’s efforts:

From September to December 2021:

  • Calls in FUB increased by 500%

  • Appointments increased by 276%

  • Contact attempts via phone, text and email increased by 54%

Sharif and the team made the most of explosive growth over time to get clients on the phone and into the room:

In 2022:

  • Calls increased by 227%

  • Appointments set increased by 343%

  • Contact attempts increased by 29% (on average)

  • Contacts responding by phone increased by 129%

In 2023:

  • Calls increased by 66%

  • Appointments set increased by 84%

  • Overall conversion rate increased by 144%

In 2024:

  • Calls increased by 84%

  • Appointments set increased by 45%

In 2025, Sharif reports their numbers are looking better than ever. Calls have increased by an additional 76%, appointments set have increased by 29%, lead responses are up 60% and with a 25% increase in closed deals, the team is on track for another successful quarter.

Each year, Sharif says, the team does their best “to be a better version of [themselves] than [they] were yesterday.” They’re consistently adding, adjusting, and working hard with the help of KTS automations to optimize their workflow.
