The real estate world moves fast, and it helps to make sure you’re always at the forefront of your clients’ minds. But even the most seasoned real estate agent would struggle to keep up with every lead. In this article, we’ll cover a quick tip for how to automate one action plan after another.
At the end of an action plan, you can create a tag that triggers an automation to start the next action plan.
Let’s say you want to create an automation to pick up at the end of a New Buyer Lead plan. To do that, you’ll scroll to the end of the plan, click Add a step, then Add tag - Unresponsive. This lets the system know that the lead hasn’t responded to the action plan. Make sure you save before you move on!
Next up, create the action plan you want to follow it. Let’s call this the Buyer Lead - Stale plan. In order to link it to the New Buyer Lead plan, you’ll need to create an automation that triggers this plan once the Unresponsive tag is added.
Under Admin automations, you can click Add automation and define the parameters (in this case, once the tag is added). Hit Save, then Save and enable — the automation is now active!
Your clients like to know you’re thinking of them. More than that, active and consistent communication will remind them that you can still play a role in their life. It’s a good idea to create automations to trigger at the end of all of your drips — from new buyers to home valuation requests.
To save time, you can create a generic, evergreen stale plan to follow up all of your action plans. A one-size-fits-all drip also allows you to quickly and expediently update content if needed, so you don’t have to go through multiple stale action plans and run the risk of missing something. The important thing is making your leads feel valued and relevant over time.
